Black Tie Affair

This 19th century mahogany parlor table was my client’s cherished family heirloom. Elegant carvings made him the talk of the town many years ago. But, like many aging gentlemen, he suffered from years of wear and tear and had wobbly legs and chipped and peeling veneer. His incredible transformation included gluing and clamping his legs to secure him to his gorgeous base. His wheels were scrubbed to remove years of rust. He was then given a sophisticated black painted outfit reminiscent of a tuxedo including shimmering metallic highlights like fashionable cufflinks. He is now ready to complete his festive attire, which will include a brand-new marble top. He will now exude his stately presence in my client’s Palmetto Bluff home.
