Rhapsody in Blue

This antique phonograph cabinet was a beauty in its day, but years of entertaining had taken a toll on her dark wood finish. Her exciting transformation exposed a beautifully preserved flip-up top which now has a delicate whitewash finish. Her base was adorned with four custom layers of blue paint and then hand-distressed and antiqued to add to her symphonic richness. The original brass door pulls were gilded to restore their original luster. Inside the creamy white cabinet, the back panel was replaced, and a second shelf added for extra storage. She loves her new expressive romantic personality.
